About Us:
Hi my name is Madison Kenyon and I am studying Elementary Education and Applied Psychology and Human Development in the Lynch School of Education at Boston College. I grew up in Norwich, Vermont and have always enjoyed being very active and playing sports. I have wanted to be a teacher my whole life and have a strong passion for working with children. Hi my name is Shannon Quinn and I am currently studying Elementary Education and English in the Lynch School of Education at Boston College. I grew up in Winchester, Massachusetts with my sister, Madeleine, and my Brother, Drew. I have been skiing since I was three years old. Currently, I race competitively for Boston College. Aside from sports, I have a strong passion for teaching. I like to transfer my organizational and time management skills as well as my motivated personality trait I gained from sports into my classroom. Together, Madison and I have several Mathematical goals we would like each student to attain this school year. We believe in a highly interactive and activities based approach to teaching mathematics. We promote student collaboration, and encourage students to ask questions. We aim to create a safe classroom environment where students are not afraid to make mistakes. We want students to understand that we are all here to learn and to increase our mathematical abilities. |
